I’d like to be a person that make videos that attract people’s minds and inform people God. For my hope, I’ll do double major Medea department in An-am Campus. Then, I’d hope to apply on a manage of Medea in CCC(Campus Crusade for Christ) organization. It would be a good way to know how can I evangelize people by using media. Also, I want to meet my loverwhose vision same as me, training in that organization. If I find the man that match on me, I’d like to go abroad for missionary work and volunteering. This is mean by being a couple missionary. I don’t care how much I will make money, and how get I high status. However, the most important thing of my life is how I live a precious life in Jesus, how I help ignorant people.
Recently, a woman’s remark about her preference for tall men has been controversial. In November, a student studying at Honk-ik University as senior appeared on a Korean entertainment television program. “I hate men who are short. Appearance is important these days, so height is about competitive power.”, she said. Furthermore, she said that she thinks a man who is short is a LOSER! Also, she said that “I am 1.7m tall, so a man has to be at least 1.8m tall.” After that, netizens became angry about her remarks. This is an important issue, because it reflects Korean cultural problems about ‘lookism’ and ‘witch-hunting’. It has promoted the idea of ‘losers’ in the press and Korean consciousness. People have brought charges against her and the broadcasting station. As well, people have complained about the our broadcasting system. On the other hand, some people have put blamed the shallow witch-hunting, as others fly into a rage about thoughtless remarks of a stupid girl. Then, it reveals male chauvinism. I am upset because of the false image that television presented as fact and it tarnishes the image of broadcasters.
I interviewed Nam-gung Sueng-hee. She said she met some stars. When she was young, sometimes people filmed in her neighborhood. At that time, she talks with No Hyun-hee. Also, Lim Hyun-sik lives in her neighborhood, so she met him many times. In addition, many other stars live in her neighborhood. Also, she went abroad two times. She has been to China and Nepal. She traveled between Korea and China by a ship. Her trip was only four days, so she felt something impatient. she traveled all over Nepal in two weeks. It was more of a service than a trip. As well, she’ll graduate the year after next spring. She isn’t sure what to do after graduation, but she contemplates a good future in business after university. She hopes to be a teacher after graduation. She will teach in public schools, so she is planning to go to a national educational graduate school. She thinks that having a graduate degree increases chances for success. As well, she has no intention of getting married, right away, but she’ll marry and have many children, some day. Recently, she watched ‘Challenge of thousand songs’. She watched the show five years ago. She doesn’t like a cultural life. She is particular about food. she enjoy Italian foods like Pizza, and Pasta. When she was a middle school student, she ate spaghetti, and it was her favorite the most. Trying different spaghetti made her happy. she thinks that sauce is the most important in Italian food. There are many kinds of sauces such as meat sauce, Carbonaro sauce, Bolognese sauce, volognese sauce, and she likes Carbonaro sauce the most. She loves anybody if he can make delicious spaghetti Carbonaro. She said that she wants to eat Carbonaro, now! Her mother likes puppies, so she has raised many puppies. Her younger sister likes cats, but she doesn’t raise cats. Sometimes her puppy has strayed off from the kennel. That time, she prayed for her puppy to return. Frankly, she has an allergy to puppies that makes her sneeze and gives her hives. She gave her younger sister’s friend the puppy, but she just can’t get her puppy out of her mind.
Today in class, I talked with Hwang Ye-na. She is twenty years old. She is majoring in North Korean studies, and she is planning to go to An-am Campus next year for a double major in Philosophy. Since Philosophy is needed as a foundation for all studies, she decided to learn a lot about it. Her present major, North Korea, is so difficult to her since Kim Jeong-il makes the situation more complex. She could not understand him, she said. When she joined her class, the professor usually speaks in English, so she needs to improve her English skills. Until now she has been to Vietnam, Italy, Japan, and China. But she has never visited to Southern Hemisphere, so she wants to see all more about the world such as culture, and environment. In order for her dream to come true, she is going to take a year off to experience an ecosystems of the Southern Hemisphere. She is eager to go to Australia.
She loves reading a book, and she plays acoustic guitar a little. These days she is reading “Save me”, written by Guillaume Musso. Also, she likes going to museum and palace.
The name of my favorite blog is ‘Jejus Film’. It is about the Jesus film project from a ministry of the Campus Crusade for Christ. Campus Crusade for Christ is a global religious organization. There is a movie describing their ways, so the organization made a film, translate a into many languages, and distributed the movie by missionaries. I read this blog every weekend, since I am interested in media. Also, I love Christ. I don’t know any other English blogs, but I usually go to Korean blogs of my friends. When I don’t have enough time to search the internet, I go to my friends’ blogs. Then, I find something I want.
When I drink a coffee, it makes me happy. It is important to drink a coffee everyday, because if I skip coffee during the day, I am easily tired and become too quiet. I first drank coffee, when I was four teen years old, and I was freshman in middle school. Since I know importance of coffee to me, I have lived with the coffe for seven years. I usually buy it in supermarket or vending machine after having lunch, but I go to cafe on weekends to drink coffee and rest. Also, I can see how coffee made by artists in a cafe. As well, I sometimes mix blended instant coffe myself in the morning. The important thing is to drink everyday. There are many types of coffee. There are blended instant coffees in a stick, coffee beans to be dripped, cans or bottles in the market. I love coffee, and I will drink coffee everyday!
